The Museum of Witchcraft and Magic in Boscastle, Cornwall, has a rich history dating back to 1951 when it was founded by Cecil Williamson. Visitors and staff have reported numerous paranormal experiences within the museum’s walls. One of the most frequently encountered spirits is that of a woman in a long black dress, believed to be a witch who was persecuted during the witch trials. She has been seen wandering the exhibits and heard whispering incantations.

The museum’s Maritime Room is said to be haunted by the spirit of a sailor, possibly connected to the area’s seafaring history. Staff members have reported objects moving on their own and the strong scent of tobacco smoke in this area.
