The Cambridge

The Cambridge

The Cambridge, located on Mulberry Street in Liverpool, England, is a historic pub dating back to the 19th century. Originally built in 1856, the establishment has served as a gathering place for locals and visitors for over 160 years. The building’s architecture reflects the Victorian era, with its ornate facade and traditional interior design.

Throughout its long history, The Cambridge has been the subject of numerous paranormal reports and ghostly encounters. One of the most frequently sighted spirits is that of a young girl, believed to be around 7 or 8 years old, who has been spotted wandering the pub’s corridors and staircases. Witnesses describe her as wearing a white dress and having long, dark hair.

Another prominent ghost said to haunt The Cambridge is that of a former landlord. Staff and patrons have reported seeing his apparition behind the bar, seemingly going about his duties as if still alive. Some have even claimed to hear the sound of bottles clinking and glasses being moved when the bar is empty.

The pub’s cellar is also a hotspot for paranormal activity. Many people have reported feeling an overwhelming sense of unease and being watched while in this area. Some have even described being touched or pushed by unseen forces.

One particularly chilling account involves a group of customers who witnessed a spectral figure materialize in the corner of the main bar area before vanishing into thin air. This event was corroborated by multiple witnesses and has since become part of The Cambridge’s ghostly lore.

Over the years, various paranormal investigators have conducted investigations at The Cambridge, documenting unexplained temperature drops, strange electromagnetic readings, and capturing EVPs (Electronic Voice Phenomena) that seem to respond to questions posed by the living.
