Stonehenge

Stonehenge, the prehistoric monument in Wiltshire, England, has captivated people for millennia with its mysterious origins and enigmatic presence. Constructed between 3000 BC and 2000 BC, this ancient stone circle has long been associated with supernatural phenomena and ghostly encounters. Visitors and researchers have reported numerous paranormal experiences at the site over the years.

One of the most frequently documented ghostly sightings at Stonehenge involves spectral figures dressed in ancient robes, believed to be Druid priests performing rituals among the stones. These apparitions are often seen at dawn or dusk, particularly during solstices and equinoxes. Some witnesses have described hearing chanting and ceremonial drums accompanying these ethereal figures.

Another recurring paranormal event at Stonehenge is the appearance of phantom lights or orbs floating around the stones. These unexplained luminous phenomena have been captured in photographs and witnessed by numerous visitors, often described as glowing blue or white spheres moving erratically through the air.

In the 1970s, a group of hippies camping illegally at Stonehenge reported seeing the ghost of a decapitated man wandering among the stones. This sighting correlates with archaeological evidence of human remains found at the site, including a skeleton with a severed head discovered during excavations.

More recently, security guards patrolling Stonehenge at night have reported hearing inexplicable screams and seeing shadowy figures darting between the stones. Some guards have even claimed to feel an unseen presence touching or pushing them while on duty.
