Hazlewood Castle, located near Leeds, England, has a rich history dating back to the 11th century. Originally built as a Norman fortress, it later became home to the Vavasour family for over 900 years. The castle played a significant role during the English Civil War and served as a safe house for Catholic priests during the Reformation.
