Haden Hill House, located in Cradley Heath, Sandwell, is a Grade II listed building dating back to the late 19th century. The house was built in 1878 by George Alfred Haden Haden-Best, a prominent local industrialist, on the site of an earlier 17th-century timber-framed hall. The original hall, now known as Haden Old Hall, still stands adjacent to the Victorian mansion.

The house has a rich history of reported paranormal activity. One of the most frequently encountered spirits is believed to be that of a young maid who allegedly fell to her death from an upper floor. Visitors and staff have reported hearing footsteps, seeing shadowy figures, and experiencing sudden temperature drops in various parts of the building.

Another well-known apparition is that of a man in Victorian attire, often seen in the drawing room and believed to be George Alfred Haden Haden-Best himself. Some witnesses claim to have seen him sitting in a chair or standing by the fireplace.

The cellar area has been a hotspot for paranormal experiences, with reports of disembodied voices, unexplained noises, and a general feeling of unease. Some visitors have reported feeling as if they were being watched or followed while exploring this part of the house.

In the adjacent Haden Old Hall, the ghost of a woman in a white dress has been seen on multiple occasions, often described as floating or gliding across rooms. There have also been reports of objects moving on their own and doors opening and closing without explanation.

The grounds surrounding Haden Hill House have their own share of ghostly tales, including sightings of spectral figures walking the gardens at night and unexplained lights seen in the windows of the house when it was supposed to be empty.
