Glasgow Royal Infirmary, founded in 1794, is one of Scotland’s oldest hospitals. The original building on Cathedral Street was replaced in 1914 with the current structure on Castle Street. During its long history, the hospital has witnessed countless births, deaths, and medical breakthroughs.

Paranormal activity at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary has been reported for decades. Staff and patients have described unexplained phenomena throughout the building. One of the most frequently encountered spirits is known as the “Grey Lady,” believed to be the ghost of a nurse who died during a fire in the 1920s. Witnesses have reported seeing her ghostly figure in corridors and wards, often accompanied by the smell of smoke.
