Most Haunted return to the infamous Pendle Hill

Most Haunted are heading back to the infamous Pendle Hill.

The long-running paranormal series Most Haunted is heading back to one of Britain’s most infamous haunting hotspots – Pendle Hill in Lancashire.

This windswept hill is synonymous with the Pendle Witch Trials of 1612, which saw 10 people accused and executed for witchcraft. Their spirits are said to still roam the area, making it one of the most haunted locations in the UK.

Most Haunted first investigated Pendle Hill back in 2004 for their now infamous live Halloween special, dubbed ‘Pendle Hell’. It proved to be one of their most dramatic and terrifying investigations ever, as the team experienced intense paranormal activity at Lower Well Head Farm and Tynedale Farm, two farmhouses in the shadow of the hill.

Derek Acorah reportedly made contact with the witches of Pendle Hill

Team members reported feeling invisible hands strangling them as psychic medium Derek Acorah made contact with Elizabeth Device, an accused witch from the 1612 trials. The live broadcast was almost cut short as crew and team members fell ill and were removed from the property.

This time, Yvette and the Most Haunted team will be investigating another ancient stone property in the vicinity of the hill, known locally as the Witches’ Cottage.

The team, who are in the midst of a Nationwide theatre tour are the first to investigate this reportedly haunted location and the action begins over on the Official Most Haunted YouTube channel at 9pm.
